2021 President's Message

The Democratic Women's Information Network (DWIN) was chartered in 2003 by the Democratic Women's Club of Florida (DWCF) and the National Federation of Democratic Women (NFDW) www.nfdw.com.

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."
--Martin Luther King, Jr.

As the DWIN President, the opportunity to serve this wonderful organization is an honor. I will work with you to continue to build on our political success in "Bluval'.

Our mission:

"Growing a network of energized, talented, informed Democratic Women on the First Coast who nurture and tap the power of women to elect more Democrats and more Women."

Through our collective work to honor our mission and accomplish our shared goals DWIN will be a leader among leaders in the task of repositioning our great Nation on a better way forward together. There is much to be done, and we are the women and enlightened men of DWIN; we have the stuff to get it done!

Our Officers and Members have consistently participated in every aspect of our organization's local, state, and national programs and projects, legislation and advocacy, to expand and strengthen our grassroots growth from research and development to implementation.

DWIN will host bi-weekly Empower & Engage sessions where we connect, we learn, and we strategize with the community and invited elected officials, candidates, and speakers who are experts in their fields. We will also host general membership meetings and community service and social activities throughout the year.

Please check our website and calendar frequently for information about our ongoing activities and how you can participate from the comfort of your home. We cannot give up now and be complacent when there is so much at risk.

Our lives, families, and livelihoods are on the line. We must be the change. Let's get to work!

Please stay safe and stay home. Do your part and help stop the spread. Wear a mask!

Go Blue!
