Welcome.
Rejoice!
The Democratic Women’s Information Network, DWIN, is dedicated to its mission: “Growing a network of energized, talented, informed Democratic Women on the First Coast who nurture and tap the power of women to elect more Democrats and more Women.”
DWIN was chartered in 2003 by the Democratic Women’s Club of Florida (DWCF) www.democratic-women.org and the National Federation of Democratic Women (NFDW) www.nfdw.com.
Fifteen years later, our theme: “Let PEACE begin with me. Let this be the moment now.” – from “Let There Be Peace on Earth” affirms that we are indeed “peace consciousness” itself.
This awareness shows us how we are truly “Stronger Together” as we mindfully persist in full faith and confidence to advance our democratic values and principles into a sustainable future.
Democratic Women’s Information Network Officers and Members have consistently participated in every aspect of our organization’s local, state, and national programs and projects, legislation and advocacy, to expand and strengthen our grassroots growth from research and development to implementation. What follows is a listing of DWIN accomplishments in collaboration with DWCF, FDP, DCDEC, DEDBC, DCDHC, DCDSC, JYD, JAXEquality, NOW.

DWCF President, Maureen McKenna, worked tirelessly among our 51 Florida clubs to craft and successfully submit the Resolution officially declaring the month of May as Democratic Women’s Month across National Federation of Democratic Women’s Clubs. At the 2015 NFDW Convention in Atlantic City NJ., MAY received this designation and is the National Federation of Democratic Women's DEMOCRATIC WOMEN’S MONTH.

Finally, DWIN will host six Membership Action Meetings in 2017 where we connect, we learn, and we strategize with community and invited elected officials, candidates and speakers who are experts in their fields.
